Motivate & Connect
MOTIVATE // TRANSFORM // CONNECT
Most of us spend more time with our co-workers than we do with our own family. Learning how to connect and be more open with our co-workers is essential to a company's internal communication, employee motivation and reduced stress levels.
Nearly three-quarters of American workers surveyed in 2007 reported experiencing physical symptoms of stress due to work. According to statistics from the American Psychological Association (APA), a startling two-thirds of Americans say that work is a main source of stress in their lives – up nearly 15 percent from the those who ranked work stress at the top just a year before. Roughly 30 percent of workers surveyed reported “extreme” stress levels.
Whatever the root causes, stressed workers tend to be fatigued, prone to mistakes and injuries, and are more likely to be absent. And most significantly, they incur healthcare costs twice as high than for other employees. All tolled, the consequences of stress-related illnesses, from depression to heart disease, costs businesses an estimated $200 to $300 billion a year in lost productivity. More employers are recognizing that now is the time for action. Workers who are stressed today can be disabled tomorrow.

We often store our emotions in our bodies which can turn into disease. Many times, we’re not even aware that our bodies attempt to cope with the emotions our minds sometimes fail to resolve. You may have noticed that under stress, our shoulders can sometimes cramp. Stress of course is just one of the factors that our minds have to deal with on a daily basis. If you’re human, you’ve probably had to resolve heavy emotional challenges throughout life.
If you're looking to create a healthier and happier environment in the workplace, BeLove Breathwork is a transformational modality that can greatly create personal awareness and provide employees the tools to cope with work related stress. We offer a 2.5 hour workshop that gives individuals the opportunity to experience 1.5 hour BeLove experiential breathwork along with the introduction of breathwork.
The experience offers employees the opportunity to become self-aware and mindful of themselves and their co-workers to better navigate through the world and workplace with more ease.
With BeLove Breathwork you can reduce this stress and anxiety:
Reduce Anxiety: Most of us are in constant, low-grade stress and we tend to breathe shallow and quickly. Deep and conscious breathing activates the parasympathetic nervous system, which kicks off the natural relaxation response. This is the exact opposite of a stress response. Breathe slower, deeper, and more consciously to reduce anxiety.
Increase Clarity and Focus: Slow, conscious breathing fully oxygenates the brain. Try three slow, deep, conscious breaths the next time you are about to make a big decision. Feel the clarity. Notice your ability to focus more intentionally on the subject at hand.
Elevate Mood: Ancient Shamanistic and Pranayama teachers in India reached altered states of consciousness through breathwork. Through a practice of noticing and, thus, controlling your breathing, you can create a consistent elevated mood with deep, slow, and conscious breaths throughout your day.
Feed Healthy Cells: Cancer can’t live… where? The 1931 Nobel Prize in Medicine was awarded to Otto Warburg who discovered that cancer cells cannot thrive in a highly oxygenated environment. A preventative measure? Take deeper breaths.
Allow Your Skin to Breathe: The skin is in! Deep, slow, conscious breaths stimulate blood flow to the skin for a more radiant and natural glow.
Promote Digestion: A relaxed body supports proper organ function. We need healthy organ function to support our body’s unmanaged and systematic activities including digestion, elimination, and absorption.
Eliminate Oxidative Stress: Deliberate breathing delivers more oxygen to your tissues. This increases the amount of oxygen in the body’s tissues and reduces the risk of hundreds of diseases.
